G3 Innovative Solutions is seeking a Sr .NET Developer who can support our Department of Defense client in Arlington, VA. The individual must be hands on with various technologies and tools, with deep expertise in .NET.
Duties and responsibilities
- Deep understanding of SDLC processes, spanning requirements/issue management, defect tracking, source control, build and test automation, and release management
- Experience with designing and developing applications using .NET development platform (C#, ASP.Net)
- Experience with designing and developing applications using Windows workflow
- Experience with Web Services Development
- Experience with front end development using JQuery, CSS, HTML 5
- Full comprehension of Oracle 11/12 andor SQL
- Review existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
- Responsible for troubleshooting system software defects and the design, development and implementation of software modifications in response to system change requests.
- Implement software enhancements and add new functionality based on Government-directed requirements.
- Experience designing forms, reports and creating new modules
- Ensuring code aligns with corporate programming standards and industry best practices (e.g. 508 compliance, security).
- Ability to multitask & work independently.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Responsible for translating software requirements into workable web based applications, including writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using .NET and other programming languages and development tools.
- Participate in project planning sessions with technical and functional leads, business analysts and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations, incorporate security requirements into design, and provide input to data flow
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications,identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues
- Ability to multi-task and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Must pay keen attention to detail and has strong desire to contribute to quality efforts and ensure data quality meets client expectations
- Excellent problem solving and resolution skills
- Experience in Application Security Code Review and/or Application Vulnerability Assessment
- Experience developing 508 compliant user interfaces
- Good organization and time management skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5+ years of directly related work experience required
- 5 plus years of software development experience managing custom software development projects, with at least 3 of those years supporting DoD clients

Clearance : Must currently possess a DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
